INTUMESCENT FOR LATCH PACKS - GRADE 13

Intumescent grade 13 latch packs are used with all UDP latches to form a barrier and fill the air gaps created when ironmongery is fitted to a door and door frame.

This material is a core component of passive fire protection.

Intumescent or intumesce expand when exposed to extreme heat and therefore keeping fire out and stopping it from spreading for a short amount of time.
